Our second day at sea did not go as planned.What started as a routine continuation of our passage from Sicily to Sardinia quickly turned into one of the most challenging days we’ve had onboard Ronnie. Strong winds, rising swell, and the kind of groaning rigging that made us stress, but something else happened too, something we never expected.
Somewhere in the middle of the Mediterranean, we found Chad, an exhausted seagull caught on our fishing lure. What followed was emotional and chaotic as we tried our absolute best to save him while battling the worsening conditions around us.
