IGNITE was the collection of projects and productions curated via the Sustained Theatre Regional Associate Producer Programme (STRAPP) from 2016 - 2019 with the aim of diversifying the cultural workforce and reaching wider culturally diverse audiences across England.

IGNITE included the development of four new regionally based productions (Glory by Nick Ahad, Under The Umbrella by Amy Ng, What Fatima Did by Atiha Sen Gupta, and Aint Misbehavin) with associated community engagement and artist development - all reflecting a strong sense of place.

STRAPP provided full-time, paid placements for four Associate Producers of colour wishing to develop their skills and experience. It was led by Tamasha Theatre Company working in partnership with seven theatre and performance venues in England :- Contact, Manchester, Belgrade Theatre Coventry, Derby Theatre , The Dukes, Lancaster, Luton Culture - The Hat Factory Arts Centre, Mercury Theatre Colchester, and Rich Mix, London.

The programme was supported by Arts Council England’s Sustained Theatre Fund
