Do you remember the Challenges on original PlayStation Home? Season 1 began in 2013 and continued into 2014, with 6 seasons in all. Each Season had several tiers of rewards, with the final tier being a personal space. The lower tier rewards included clothing and furniture items. I feel that, given everything was free, the purpose of the Challenges was to get players to explore PS Home more and discover public spaces and minigames they may not previously have tried. I think Sony was very generous to give out so many free items for a small investment in time, plus it was a great way to meet people and even make some friends.

Season 1 Challenges minigames were: Book Herding at Diagon Alley (one of the Pottermore - Harry Potter - spaces), Ice Breaker and Echochrome arcade games at the Bowling Alley, Crafty Racer at Granzella's Glittering Sands and Goldfish Scooper Gingi at Great Edo of Nippon. The top tier reward for this season was Castle Durrant.
