Jambl: Vision
Jamming is our religion. Synchronisation is our god.
Jambl exists to give the gift of musical expression and connection to as many people as possible and to build super intuitive musical instruments for beginner and pro jammers of all ages.
We define a jammer as a person that has the desire to play, fiddle, experiment and enjoy musical creation, on their own or in a group, in whatever style of music they love, regardless of age, background or musical experience.
Our mission is to lead the market of music experience for non-musicians and to build most intuitive digital music creation tool in the world.
Our challenge is to change the perception of the masses regarding what it means to create music, from a scary daunting test of one’s talent, into a casual, easy and fun social experience.

Why do we want to do this?
We believe that everyone can and should experience musical play.
We believe the future of music is interactive, accessible and social.
We believe music have a big role in shaping our culture.
We believe making music in a group creates solidarity in society.
We believe we can bring joy and better human connections to the masses.

Collaborative music:
The Past
We believe music making should not be left only for musicians. Throughout history in every culture, people have been coming together around interactive social music rituals, to synchronise their neural activity, to express their common culture while showing their individuality, to attract mates, and just to have fun together. Folk music from around the world was designed for participation, and to teach the society how to work together harmoniously, through interdependent rhythms, synchronised sound and collective singing.
Music used to belong to the masses.

The Present
However, since the record industry invented the modern recording artist, music turned from an activity you participated in, into a commodity to be consumed. Music has turned into a solitary experience, from headphones, to modern dance styles, to electronic music creation methods, music has lost its collaborative essence. In today’s world, we live with so many divisions in our society, our mobile technologies and social media that continue to isolate us in our own echo chamber, leaving us missing a sense of real community. Our cultural state is reflected in how we create and engage with music.

The Future
At Jambl we want to bring music back to everyone's hands, and turn electronic music
(the folk music of our time), to an expressive, social and creative experience.
We believe music and art have a part to play in influencing the mass shift in consciousness, that is needed in order to create a more integrated and cooperative world culture, and that corporations have a responsibility, to use technology to build better bridges of understanding between all people. We want to build a company that goes beyond music software, we want to to bring the benefits of music to everyone, and inspire people to play together in harmony.
