महाराष्ट्र दिनी सर्वात मोठी बातमी... राज्यात आता 36 ऐवजी 58 जिल्हे होऊ शकतात.. होय हे खरं आहे.. कारण राज्यात आणखी 22 जिल्ह्यांची मागणी प्रस्तावित आहे.. आजच महाराष्ट्र दिन म्हणजे महाराष्ट्र स्थापना दिवस.. 1 मे 1960 रोजी 26 जिल्ह्यांचं महाराष्ट्र राज्य अस्तित्वात आलं.. अनेक जिल्हे हे लोकसंख्या आणि आकाराच्या दृष्टीने मोठे होते.. मात्र प्रशासकीय कामासाठी नागरिकांची गैरसोय होऊ लागली.. तेव्हा आजपर्यंत राज्यात नवीन 10 जिल्ह्यांची भर पडून ते 36 झाले. मात्र अजूनही शेवटच्या गावातून येणा-या नागरिकाला जिल्ह्याच्या ठिकाणी जाण्यासाठी पूर्ण दिवस खर्ची घालावा लागतो.. तेव्हा आणखी 22 जिल्ह्यांची मागणी प्रस्तावित आहे..

Biggest news on maharashtra day... state can now have 58 districts instead of 36.. yes its true.. because demand for 22 more districts is proposed in state.. today maharashtra day means maharashtra foundation day.. on 1st may 1960 maharashtra of 26 districts The state came into existence.. Many districts were big in terms of population and size.. But the citizens started getting inconvenienced for administrative work.. Then till date 10 new districts were added in the state making it 36. But still the district to the citizen coming from the last village
