Vervaet Quad 550 | Slurry 2023 | Gülle fahren | Loonbedrijf Van Amstel - Lith NL | *Pure sound*

Since the 16th of February slurry season 2023 has started in the Netherlands. Contractor Van Amstel is busy injecting with their Vervaet Quad 550. It is one of the first production models that the Dutch manufacturer produced last year in limited numbers.

The Quad 550 is powered by a 550 HP Volvo Penta engine and has a 22m³ tank. The tank can be filled at a rate of up to 13.5m³/min. Behind it is a 12m wide Schouten Spider disc injector. For this year the machine is fitted with new BKT IF1250/50R32 tyres that are 1,25m wide. A tyre inflation system will also be fitted in due course for the biggest possible footprint. The machine is fitted with rtk-gps from John Deere and a NIR-sensor for real-time slurry analysing and application.
