First Comp Day Vlog

02/10/23 was a very special day for me. One day after I was supposed to toe the line at my first triathlon. A week after one of the toughest weeks of my life.

Friday before the competition, I had freshly started treatment after a near drowning accident battling through some pretty tough days when my coach asked me if I wanted to step in and compete in someone else's place that had pulled out last minute.

I took all of 2 secs to think about it and then I typed "Yes, I am in. I need this."

This vlog is a little run through of how I spent the day leading up to the comp.

So thankful for my girlfriend, my life partner. Always in my corner, always has my back, always campaigning right along with me in the challenges that I take on. It would not be possible without her.
