The collector of this Hamm's Preferred beer can was one of the pioneers in the can collecting hobby. He was BCCA #17 and began collecting beer cans in the early to mid 1960s. He kept all of the extras and traders outside in the barn behind us, and my jaw dropped when I found the one line difference that brought this can into the collecting stratosphere.

I set my phone out on the porch and told his son that I had a surprise for him. The addition of the word STRONG above the word BEER on the face of the can as a true rarity. 98% have this info printed on the top metal lid. Supposedly, it was distributed exclusively in North Dakota. It was such a thrill to find one in the wild. Yep,one word difference. A STRONG difference in price however. He was as floored as I was-haha. There are a few "North Dakota only" beer brands and variations that have more value than other cans. Let me know if you've found any.
