As we roll out the remaining water stations I’ve overlooked a critical issue. I did consider drainage when designing the water stations however failed to build it into any of the stations. I’m regretting this and now need to place the other water stations on hold until I build suitable drainage for each existing station. I honestly thought the new water stations would be utilised just for water collection however they do provide an excellent platform for bathing and cleaning. As such there is significantly more water run off than anticipated. The water run off is making areas of the village wet & muddy plus the waste water is now flowing very close to houses. THIS MUST BE FIXED ASAP.
