[4K] Alton Towers Hotel and Room Tour, join us for a walkthrough of the Alton Towers Hotel and Artic Explorer Room, themed around the explorer Sir Algenon, who has made the Alton Towers Hotel his home.

The Alton Towers Hotel opened on 10 April 1996 and is themed to the eccentric fictional character Sir Algenon Alton and his travels. The rooms are decorated in a quirky English style with pictures of Sir Algenon's inventions. The hotel is four-star and has 180 rooms with three different room types consisting of Explorer, Arctic Explorer and Moon Voyager.

The Artic Explorer Room room is air-conditioned and consists of a double bed, two singles, an ironing board, a cot, tea and coffee making facilities, two chairs, a table, a desk that contains the hair dryer in the drawer, a themed framed wall mounted TV and a giant cuddly polar bear. The carpet floor is similar to the corridors with footprints and snow that match the theming of the room and gives the feeling of being in the Arctic. There are activity booklets and crayons for the kids and the bathroom has plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and soap. The hotel package includes an overnight stay, full English buffet breakfast, evening entertainment, 9-hole extraordinary golf, free parking, and free wifi

In addition, the hotel has a number of limited availability rooms including Gangsta Granny Room, Chocolate Room, Sleepover Room, Coca-Cola Room, Splish Splash Room, Big Pyjama Room, The Smiler Room, Arabian Nights Room, Princess Room, Dreamy Den Room, Hidden Hideaway Room, Peter Rabbit Room and Benjamin Bunny Room.

Alton Towers also has two other Hotels, Splash Landings Hotel which opened in 2003 and features an indoor Waterpark and the CBeebies Land Hotel which opened in 2017. There is also an Enchanted Village which opened in 2015 with Woodland Lodges and Luxury Treehouses and Stargazing Pods that opened in 2019.

Alton Towers Resort is a world-renowned theme park and resort located in the heart of Staffordshire, England. With over 40 rides and attractions, including 10 thrilling roller coasters, Alton Towers offers something for everyone, from families with young children to adrenaline-seeking thrill-seekers.

The park is situated on a sprawling estate that spans over 800 acres and is home to a variety of themed areas, including Forbidden Valley, X-Sector, CBeebies Land, and the iconic Towers Street. Each area is uniquely designed and offers its own set of attractions and experiences.

One of the most popular attractions at Alton Towers is the Wicker Man roller coaster, which opened in 2018 and is the UK's first wooden roller coaster to be built in over 20 years. The coaster is themed after the ancient pagan tradition of the Wicker Man and features special effects, fire, and a heart-pumping ride experience.
