A McCarthy and Gunks classic. For the unfamiliar, 5.9 is probably the grade to climb in the Gunks (really hard to go wrong) and of them all, MF may be the best.

Yes, some of the gear looks shallow. I know. Believe it or not, much of it is camera perspectives, much of it is also shallow cracks, and I'm sure some of it could have been placed better. All reasons I haven't dived into climbing harder trad ... yet.

Gunks season is soon upon us!
