Love With Flaws - Wonseok Coming Out Scene

This scene means a lot to me. When I found it, I cried really hard. I realized that I didn't need to be sorry for being gay. It was that one line that made it click in my head.

So when I saw this scene, it was exactly what I needed to hear. Because I can't change who I am and who I like.

I'm a proud lesbian. When I first came out I was completely fine, but I think it was until I started seeing LGBTQ+ content where almost always they hated themselves and when I was on the internet for the first time that I saw how people hated people like me. Then I wasn't ok. Even though I was loved and accepted by so many people in real life, I think I became disillusioned with myself. I thought that I had to hate myself to please people who didn't even exist to me. I let the internet, people who clearly don't have the same energy in real life, effect the way I see my own sexuality. After years of struggling, one day I finally just woke up and realized that I was just a lesbian. And that was ok. Finally after so many years I found the same love for my identity as I did when I first came out.

Cha In-ha may have passed away, but I am forever thankful for his role as Wonseok. He helped me so much and I'm really sad that I will never properly thank him, but I share this in his memory. Please rest in peace Cha In-ha 💖
