Religion and politics in the U.S.?
It’s a whole thing.
According to a recent Pew Research study:📌Highly Religious White Christians lean Republican (77%).📌 Black Christians lean Democrat (72%).
Same Bible.
Same faith.
So what’s going on here?
Well,
I think your faith and politics has a lot more to do with your experience of the world,
Than what the “bible clearly teaches”
And one of the common reasons I see cited for leaving the church
Is the dogmatic preaching of one political agenda over the other.
But I’m curious to know what you think?
Does political talk belong in the church?
What’s its place?
