The Ingenuity of Knife Edge Pool Designs | Rainfall Retreat Deep Dive 1

Welcome to the first of many in our deep dive series where I take you behind the scenes of some of my favorite projects and explain some of the breathtaking design features.

In this episode, we unlock the secrets behind our Rainfall Retreat build, where our client desired a sleek pool seamlessly integrated with the surrounding walkway. A seamless transition between pool and walkway might seem like a walk in the park but there’s a lot of different factors that require some unique innovations. To accomplish this in Rainfall Retreat, we picked a knife edge design for a number of factors over similar solutions like the vanishing edge and wet edge designs. Rainfall Retreat’s yard size was a major factor in picking this design due to its odd sizing and the placement of the pool.
