When you are a weekend warrior like I am, you have to deal with less than ideal conditions. Location can make all of the difference when conditions are not good. Winds were forecasted to be over 20mph from the South so I made the decision to launch on the South side of Salamonie Lake and stay there to take advantage of some high bluffs that often block the wind. The plan worked and I ended up catching a ton of Crappies! The fish were in a great mood with the warm weather and it would have been easy to limit out if I had wanted!
