EWIS certification : Partnership between Latesys and Dassault Systèmes

Latesys has been supporting aircraft manufacturers Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Airbus and ATR in obtaining EWIS certification (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) since 2016. In February 2018, Latesys signed a strategic partnership with Dassault Systèmes with a view to speeding up this certification process for aircraft builders. This partnership led to the development of a turnkey digital solution that now enables the automated generation of proof of compliance with certification criteria. In this video, ADF’s Head of Electrical Engineering and EWIS certification, Baptiste Czapla, presents the solution along with the checks conducted and standards applied to an aircraft’s electrical wiring systems in order to obtain EWIS certification.
