The band was created by Filthgrinder and his old die hard friend Monorgasmatron(Guitars) in the autumn of 2017 and we started playing some dirty tracks that I was working on at that time,because I always wanted to make a old school (1st Wave) black metal band with some dirty punk ''feeling'' inside, like the sound of (old)Venom, Hellhammer /Celtic frost,Bathory, FUCKIN' Motorhead, (old)Sodom, Bulldozer,G.B.H, Warfare,Broken Bones And Discharge!

After the DIY recording of the ''Necropunk'' EP ,we didn't have found the ''Fit'' Vocal Sound and i didn't like the result!
Then i spoke with Purgatory (Vocals-Drums) and he asked us if he could do some vocals, after many thoughts the answer was (OK let’s do it) and then it all started to make sense...
Why the name 'Sordid Dogs'?
The meaning behind Sordid Dogs is influenced by nowadays’ living conditions.
There are several slang metaphors found if we were to translate the name in other languages, the romanticized one referring to those who party hard and live a so-called street life, and the most “savage” of all referring to being homeless; in parts of the capitalist west, the homeless are considered by some to be stray dogs, “toxic” for society.
Metaphorically speaking, a sordid dog is an urban rat, almost the same size as a small canine, that lives in filthy, toxic sewers. Essentially it’s a hybrid of the 2 animals that you can easily come across in a big urban center (therefore the antisocial punk rat on our cover as the protagonist).
