Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Kolkata is experiencing a horrible weather starting from this December. It's cloudy, it's raining and it's chilly. So today I'm making Hot Chocolate which is the only good thing in this gloomy weather, IMO.

deets:
300ml full fat milk
80ml fresh cream
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp orange zest
A big pinch grated nutmeg
3 tsp unsweetened coco powder
1 1/2 tsp instant coffee
80g dark chocolate(min. 50% cocoa)
A tiny pinch of salt
1/2 tsp corn flour
1 or 2 tsp sugar(optional)
Marshmallows for toppings

Start by chopping the chocolate in small chunks. Heat the milk, cream and the cinnamon on a low flame. Stir once or twice for even heating. Add the orange zest and the nutmeg and keep heating. In a small bowl mix the coco, coffee and some same hot milk. Pour the mix in the pot through e strainer to get rid of any lumps. Mix mix mix. When it comes to a light simmer, switch off the gas and the chocolates and the salt. *You can add the sugar at this point. Mix gently. Now, Mix the corn flour with some choco milk to make a slurry. Add this to the hot choco keeping the gas on. This makes the hot chocolate so silky and creamy. Mix for one last time. Pour the hot chocolate trough a strainer in your cup. Add the marshmallows. Shave some chocolates on top and enjoooyyyy.

*p.s. I don't like adding extra sugar cause I love the bitter-sweet taste. But you can add as much or as less sugar you want as per your taste.
