Best Place in Rangamati for recreation
Most attractive recreation place in Rangamati, adjacent to DC park and DC bungalow. This polwel park is maintained by well organized people where we find different types of rides for children, zoo, swimming pool, fishing pier, love lock points, beautiful cottege. A suitable place to enjoy on holidays and also enjoy the beauty of Kaptai lake.

Alauddin Patwari, an expatriate tourist from the United States, and his bride, Irene Sultana Lima, went missing after their boat capsized on Kaptai Lake in Rangamati. Two days after the incident, divers and rescuers searched the entire Kaptai Lake. On the morning of the third day, the bodies of the two were found floating in the lake while embracing each other. Even death could not separate the two.
The incident took place in March 2014. The country's first profit point is being built at the Polwell Nature Park in Rangamati, paying homage to all the loves of the world, including the Alauddin-Lima couple. Their bodies were recovered on March 22 of that year in the heart of the park adjacent to the DC bungalow.
The 'Love Point', proposed and planned by journalist Fazle Elahi, will be the first such installation in the country. There will be a spectacular installation as a memento of love and the lovers who come here will hang the key on a stand and throw the key into Kaptai Lake as a sign of their mutual bond.
