Tony Kanaan - IMS Speaker Series - September 24, 2019

Tony Kanaan kicks off the Fall 2019 series on Tuesday, Sept. 24, with a special guest as moderator: Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles. Due to a prior commitment, Kanaan’s Distinguished Speaker Series event is 5:30-7:30 p.m. (ET), but it promises to be an extremely memorable 120 minutes with one of motorsports most outgoing and beloved personalities.

Kanaan is the 2013 Indianapolis 500-Mile Race winner and won the NTT IndyCar Series champion in 2004 – the same year he became the first driver in series history to complete every lap of every race. He has driven for four-time “500” winner A.J. Foyt in 2018 and 2019, and like Foyt, who recorded a record 35-consecutive Indianapolis 500 starts, Kanaan is one of the sport’s “iron men.” He will record his 317th-consecutive start – a streak that goes back to June 2001 – at the IndyCar season finale September 22 at Laguna Seca.
