GET PR ON ARRIVAL WITH UNIQUE CAREGIVER PROGRAM IN CANADA | *MUST WATCH*

previous video, I talked about pathways that require people to come to Canada to work as a caregiver but this new pathway blows that one out of the water because it offers PR on arrival. This means you are few years away from being eligible to become a citizen when you arrive. Who qualifies for this and what are the requirements needed?

You need a minimum of high school diploma i.e WAEC OR NECO
You also need an English test i.e IELTS CLB band 4
You need a full time job offer. This is different because you do not need an agency to offer you a job, individuals who need a home care giver can put up job ads on websites and you can apply. They only need to pick you for the job. Whether you need an agencies for a broader job search, it is up to you.
I am going to discuss ways on how to search for jobs. Please visit jobbanks.ca to search for these jobs. Also, check LinkedIn, Indeed and glass door etc.

The good news is that there is no age limit for this, so it is open to everyone who has a credible job resume that fits into this. So what you are going to do is tailor your CV to fit into what the job ad needs. This is not going to be easy at first but with my experience as an unemployed job seeker lol, you need to make a CV/resume that has what people are looking for. So first, search for these jobs on those website I mentioned and then tailor your CV to fit them.
If you are feeling like you don’t have professional experience, I encourage you to think about all those times you have been a caregiver to your family members in the past. This is basically what it means, all you need this time certified trainings to fluff your experience e.g First Aid, CPR, TLR etc.

Who is this perfect for?
It is perfect for people who are already in healthcare sector
Degrees or diploma in healthcare will definitely give you a boost. But you must convert it to Canadian standard, so check WES website and start working on converting your certificates.

You only need someone to offer you a full time job and when you are here, you can work your way up! Do not miss out on this opportunity, and do not be dismissive of the job type. Trust me, as long as it is legit and you are getting paid, nobody cares that you are not working a 9-5 job. Of course, there will be more information from IRCC down the line and I will be providing updates as we go. But it is better to be proactive about this.
