I found this antique Black Hawk corn sheller buried in an old barn. It was a solid block of rust, with the main flywheel and intricate gear mechanism completely seized. These hand-cranked machines were essential farm tools in the past. In this video, I take on the challenge of freeing the stuck parts, cleaning decades of rust from the heavy cast iron body, and restoring it to shell corn just like it did when it was new.
