VW CAMPERVAN ADVENTURES, Bolton Abbey Village, North Yorkshire - A Solo Female

In another solo female #vanlife trip, I take my #VWcampervan (or rather the campervan takes me) for a day & night at Bolton Abbey, a village in North Yorkshire. I set up camp for the afternoon at The Riverside Car Park, take a riverside walk to visit the memorial fountain, walk to and around the historical Abbey ruins, before pitching up for the evening at Bolton Abbey Caravan & Motorhome Club Site which is situated in a woodland setting, about 2.5 miles from the village centre.

I show the self-inflating sleeping mat for the pop top bed that I finally decided on, demonstrate its set up, spend my first night up there under the tin lid, and feedback how it went (Spoiler Alert: I blinkin' loved it!)
