0:00 - 9/20: 213 heads west through Sinking Spring with an ex-CR C40-8 leading.

1:00 - 9/20: A single C40-9 leads coal empties through Robesonia, returning to the Reading & Northern interchange in Reading with ex-RDG and DRGW 4-bay hoppers.

2:30 - Close behind was 36Q with a pair of ex-CR blue units trailing a Dash-9.

3:05 - 9/21: 2-mile long double-stack train 24V is bound for North Jersey with a pair of unique BNSF locomotives trailing.

4:00 - 9/23: A blue SD60 and KCS ACe pull ethanol loads 68Q from the midwest to the Chemical Coast.

4:45 - 9/23: The only C40-8 in Conrail Quality paint leads Oak Island, NJ - Pittsburgh, PA mixed freight 19G west near MP 77. We caught the train again at Prescott at 6:35.

7:15 - 9/24: H31 west with a high-hose SD40-2.

7:35 - 9/29: Blue SD50 NS 5405 with a powerful Leslie RS-5T horn leads 20G with a pair of BNSF engines off of Q-LACNYC through Richland towards Croxton, NJ.

8:35 - 9/29: Ex-CR Dash-8-40CW leads 19G west through the crossing near MP 77 with some nice rolling stock in the train.

9:45 - 9/30: 19G crosses from Track 2 to 1 at CP DORF with an OLS Dash-9 leading, with a blue GP38-2 in consist. Empty gondola train 66Z pulls in from the other direction on the Approach, getting a Clear signal at DORF at 11:00 with a blue SD60M leading.

12:30 - 10/3: 33A is stopped for a problem at MP 78, I hiked back to the signal to see a nice set of locomotives, unfortunately it would be nightfall once they started to move east 13:10, but I wasn't going to pass up shooting a GP40-2 leader on a road freight!

14:00 - 10/4: 34A with a broad range of locomotives heads west through Richland, some nice rolling stock too.

15:20 - 10/6: A solo high-hood SD40-2 leads H31 west to ELK.

15:50 - 10/12: 68Q with a cab-signal SD50 ahead of a non-equipped NS pair at Robesonia.

16:30 - 10/13: 11J west at MP 77 has a blue SD60M leading with a bad P3 horn.

17:15 - 10/13: 64J east at Richland with a GP38-2 leading.

18:00 - Close behind was 20G with a blue SD50 leading H1/H2 BNSF Dash-9's. At 18:55 we catch 64J up the low-grade at Temple, with 20G behind them again at 19:30.

20:15 - 10/18: SD40-2 pair leads 64J through Robesonia and Temple.

21:15 - 20G close behind at Temple with another blue SD50 leading a BNSF and CSX GE. A lot of CSX power was running around on BNSF in 2008 and coincidentally ran through onto NS from the Q-LACNYC on several occasions.

22:15 - 10/19: Another multi-colored 20G through Richland.

23:10 - 10/19: We chase a lite MP15DC moving west from Reading to Enola Diesel Shop, with an audible flat spot causing it to run restricted speed.

25:00 - 10/22: 054 with a pair of ex-CR blue SD50's is pulling an usual load of retired generators from the Martin's Creek power plant, which swapped from coal to natural gas. We chased the train from Wernersville, to Robesonia 26:30, to Womelsdorf 28:10 on a brutally cold and windy evening.

29:05 - 10/24: An ex-Union Pacific SD60 leads a variant of engines on 33A bound for Allentown Yard.

30:00 - 10/25: Coal empties 85E through Richland behind a single blue Dash-8-40CW.

30:30 - 10/30: Though it was too dark to get a clear shot, 20G glides downgrade at Robesonia with a fashionable mix of Conrail, warbonnet, and green n cream colors.

31:05 - 10/31: H31 with an MP15DC switcher and a brand new GP40-2 rebuild at Richland.

31:20 - 11/02: A blue Dash-8 and fresh GP40-2 lead 64J through Richland.

32:00 - 10 minutes later 34A heads west with some colorful GE's as the trees show their fall color.

32:45 - 11/02: Ethanol empties 67Q with all sorts of color passes the derelict siding at MP 80 in Myerstown. This siding received new life when Farmer Boy Ag move into this location.

33:30 - 11/06: H33 speeds through DORF with a B32-8 leading LHF.

34:15 - 11/08: 64J with a SD/GP40-2 pair passes fall foliage at Richland.

34:50 - 11/08: 20G rounds the bend into Richland with a colorful trio of locomotives, including an ex-BN triclops SD60M.

35:30 - 11/17: A trio of red CP EMD's pound through Richland on a rather empty 30J. CP GP38-2 7307 would be used on the South Philadelphia docks for local and yard service.

37:35 - 11/28: 34A west past the industry at Avon, entering the Lebanon City limits near MP 84.5.

39:00 - 12/06: 503 coal empties led by NS 8803 with an RS-5T horn running long hood forward before spinning in Reading.

40:00 - 12/26: 33A east through Richland with an array of yard power, most notably the ex-Reading SW1001 still in Conrail paint.

41:00 - 12/27: On a foggy morning, 68Q with a blue SD50 and BNSF GE pair waits for 11J to pass through CP DORF.

43:25 - That afternoon 34A splits the fog at 10th St. in Lebanon. 3001 is an ex-Reading GP40-2.
