BLUE MARLIN DURING THE MAHI MANIA 2024 ABOARD THE LEGENDARY

We set out declared for our second day of the mahi mania and right before setting lines out Capt Brian, Capt Matt and I were all up top and all saw a big blue marlin free jumping around 400 lbs , we decided to start there, boxed three mahi within minutes and then she ate the shotgun rod and started jumping we all watched ass she exploded across the top off the water but she end up shaking the hook. We fished the rest of the day and moved to a different area wasn’t as fishy as the morning so we worked our way back upon arrival we hooked a quad pulled one and spun around to go back by, redeployed the spread and then another blue came up ate the long rigger bait and it was on, we landed the second fish in around 2 hours, Everyone had a turn reeling on him, Matt finished the fight everyone got a good look at him and I wrapped up and finished a safe release on my first blue marlin as a mate with a full crew.
