This album by Richard Davis: The Bassist: Homage to Diversity features the legendary bassist in top from alongside pianist John Hicks in duo format throughout. There are some incredible bowed solos and melodies throughout the album but for now I decided to focus on this amazingly tasteful pzizzicato solo. It's almost as if the improvised lines could have been a melody on their own.
