Glass Mountain Ridge Overland Adventure | Toyota Tacoma Build

On day three of our Eastern Sierra trip, we took my Tacoma overland build out to explore Glass Mountain Ridge near Mammoth, California. The trail led us across fields of black obsidian and down rugged, overgrown paths until we found the perfect spot to set up camp.
Once camp was dialed in, we cooked up great meals and watched one of the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever seen — followed by an unreal lightning show lighting up the Sierra sky. The next morning, we brewed some pumpkin spice coffee and made a hearty breakfast before packing up.

This adventure had it all:
✔️ Off-roading up Glass Mountain’s obsidian trails
✔️ Camping in the remote Eastern Sierra
✔️ Beautiful sunset views & a lightning show
✔️ Cooking, camp coffee & breakfast in the wild
✔️ A perfect mix of overlanding and backcountry exploring
