Hi! In Italian folklore and folk customs, the Befana is a benevolent which-like old lady that brings gifts to children. She is celebrated every year on Epiphany Eve. The Befana is a mysterious, contradictory figure of unclear origins. She is celebrated throughout all of Italy, and has become a national icon.
In time this figure has been depicted in many different ways, often sporting elements that not necessarily belonged to her in the first place. Adding my imagination to the already existing confusion around this figure, I came up with a character on a vehicle…and I even made a video about it. Hope y’all enjoy!
