Insane Trophy Fish Camp

Insane fishing for trophy walleye, northern pike and lake trout in northern Manitoba fishing out of Laurie River Lodge. This fly in camp has several portages and additional fly in lakes with trophy fishing opportunities.

This fly in camp was one of the most impressive fishing camps we have ever seen and the fact that there was so much potential for big fish of all three species out of one camp really puts this operation over the top. The food and service was excellent.

We caught countless walleye the first evening perhaps a half mile from the main lodge. The second day, we flew into a trophy pike lake and caught several pike over forty inches. On day three, we flew into a trophy walleye lake and caught perhaps a hundred walleye between 18-27 inches. We focused on lake trout on another fly in lake on the final day and caught several lake trout up to 36 inches.

We used primarily jigs and plastics to catch walleye. Many of the pike were caught with spinnerbaits and spoons. Tube jigs caught most of the lake trout.
