How I Dodged Thunderstorms on My MU-2 Turboprop Trip to Kansas

Описание к видео How I Dodged Thunderstorms on My MU-2 Turboprop Trip to Kansas

Ride along in the Mitsubishi MU-2 turboprop as I head up to the Kansas area for meetings, and return home into some heavy Thunderstorms. I thought I would use the trip to show the differences between ADSB weather and XM Weather for those that rely on that in the cockpit. Hopefully you will enjoy the ATC audio, in-cockpit takeoff and landing, and some fun time warp footage thanks to GoPro Timewarp. Thank you for enjoying aviation like I do. N1727S

EDIT: THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO PENETRATE A LINE OF THUNDERSTORM WITH ONLY ADSB OR XM WEATHER PRODUCTS. Not shown in the comparison was the use of on-board radar, that video did not turn out, so alas -but thankfully some experts were helpful in pointing this out for me.
