Since 2021 Affinity Photo has offered astro capabilities. These consist of stacking of astro files (raw and FITS), and also calibration files (dark, bias etc) can be included. Once the stacked pixel file is obtained then the usual editing of Affinity Photo is used.
The present video shows how a simple astro project is performed. The workflow involves adding the files (here only 4 raw files of the Milky Way and one black file), stacking the files, colour stretching the resultant pixel file, and editing to get the final result.
