The last city of Peru...

As time is flying by faster then we expected, our journey in Peru is slowly coming to an end. After about 6 weeks we were ready to experience our last destination which is one of the most famous places in Peru, the capital of the Inca Empire: Cusco.

We not only visited the most famous attraction Machu Picchu but also Palcoyo Mountain, known as the "Alternative Rainbow Mountain". Since it is at an altitude of about 5,000 meters, it was also one of our highest visits and pretty exhausting! 😅⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Sacred Valley was also something we didn't want to miss! It is a region deep in the Andean highlands of Peru. Together with Cusco and Machu Picchu, it formed the heart of the Inca Empire.

We loved our time in Peru and will never forget what we experienced here! Now it was time to head on... new adventures await in a completely new country!
