The Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders helps your child and family throughout the entire cancer journey — from diagnosis to survivorship and beyond. With our long-time membership and leadership in the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), a world-renowned organization exclusively dedicated to pediatric cancer research, we offer the most advanced treatments available in a compassionate, family-centered environment.

Our expert pediatric hematologists and oncologists at the Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (or “NCCBD,” for short) work closely with our board-certified specialists representing many medical disciplines from the Delaware Valley (Nemours Children's Hospital for Children, Delaware) and throughout Florida (Nemours Children's Hospital, Orlando, Florida; Nemours Children's Health, Jacksonville, Florida;) to offer families world-class care.

Nemours is also one of only two National Cancer Institute-designated pediatric Community Oncology Research Programs (or “NCORPs”) in the nation. As an NCORP institute, we work together, across our campuses in the North and South, to give kids with cancer truly comprehensive, well-informed care. For example, many children benefit from our weekly system-wide “tumor board” meetings, when specialists representing various medical disciplines in the Delaware Valley and throughout Florida come together to discuss complex cancer cases. It’s like getting a second opinion from the nation’s best pediatric cancer doctors and scientists without making an appointment.
