Clean Machine Car Wash: Naples Site (Inside & Outside Perspectives)

Once again, special thanks to Daniel Lance for making this possible

Clean Machine Naples is the first location from the chain of express washes. Ever since it’s opening in March of 2016, it has become one of the best high-volume and mid-sized car washes in the entire area, as the Naples area mostly consists of full-serve and flex-serve washes. The property has most of the features as the Bonita Springs location, including the following: 3 ICS AutoSentry pay stations, a reasonably sized wash tunnel, RhinoMat mat cleaners, 2 rows of Sonny’s self-serve free vacuums stations, and an exit lane that takes customers around the vacuums to relieve traffic.

Before they had switched to Sonny’s equipment for their newest site, Clean Machine has originally chosen Peco equipment for their first site (and presumably their future sites before the switch). The wash tunnel is roughly 100’ or 120’ long and features Peco as the primary wash equipment. However, the CTAs and foamers are from Mr. Foamer. Equipment inside the tunnel includes the following: a Peco TWC2122S combo module, WW960SS tire brush, TW800S exit facing top brush, PE128S/RF 28” retracting rocker brushes, PE905 high-pressure arch, PE806 tracking wheel blasters, a Peco 120 HP blower system, and a Peco Buff-N-Dry unit.

Through the time, this tunnel had received some new upgrades. The TSS entrance in the entrance area was upgraded with new graphics, a rinse barrier was added near the dryers, the original foamers were taken out and replaced with foamers from Mr. Foamer, a TSS arch was added near the rinse area to apply RainX, and some of the original Peco dryers were taken out and replaced with Sonny’s dryers, including Mammoth side dryers. At the entrance of the tunnel, vehicles are manually prepped with a special bug remover and high pressure before entering the wash tunnel. At this location, triple foam is applied right after the 1st top brush, which is then rinsed off by the high-pressure arch. Tire shine is offered on the top package and is applied in the drying area with the use of a Peco TBA960SS tire shine placed after the buff-n-dry side brushes.

It should be noted that during my visit to this facility, I had tried recording this wash twice, which both times were unsuccessful. Because of this, I decided to record near the rinse area because it was the only way I would be able to record without my camera getting wet.

Clean Machine Car Wash is currently using all chemicals from Zep.

Wash results were excellent; however, the buff-n-dry top brush had cause streaks on the hoods of some of the vehicles that I saw use this facility during my visit. However, I currently believe that the material will be replaced sometime in the future.

After my visit was complete, I came to the conclusion that Clean Machine was able to provide some excellent wash results with both of their locations, especially with the $20 platinum wash. It's exceptionally well run, their staff is amiable, and is well worth visiting.
