she really does love her, doesn’t she

It makes me so unbelievably happy to know that i exist in a time where i got to experience the queer fairy tale moment i always dreamed of :’)

the classic disney scores are the stuff of absolute magic and i couldn’t help but see this scene with the music from the little mermaid! i remember seeing this scene when i was younger, and feeling that untouchable joy in Ariel’s eyes. the sun illuminating her from behind. that shimmering blue dress, seeing her arms stretched out to be reunited with her love. it’s one of the most beautiful moments in film to me and i feel all of the same things when i saw Luz and Amity reunite. with so much relief in their eyes knowing that they’re together again that they cry and smile at the same time. both moments are so beautiful and i wanted to capture that essence of what i saw in my head. And you deserve to feel like i did. believing in a happy ending because you know that hearts like theirs deserve it
