In a repeat of the 2007 ACC Championship, the Virginia Tech Hokies are once again ACC champions in 2008 after defeating Boston College. This time the Hokies defeated the Eagles 30-12. Virginia Tech's defense was outstanding, forcing BC into five turnovers.  Tyrod Taylor was named game MVP after rushing for the first two touchdowns of the game. Darren Evans added 114 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries for the Hokies.  Boston College's defense did hold Virginia Tech to just 234 total yards and forced three turnovers.
