ASTERISM - BLAZE [Live in Paris at Japan Expo] 2024.07.14

ASTERISM came to the Japan Expo in Paris from the 11th to 14th of July, 2024. They promoted their new album PLANET of METAL and also played a medley of their anime covers from the ANIMETIC album. They were featured as an "Event of the Day" on Friday, playing in the big Ichigo hall in front of at least a thousand people, maybe even 2000. They attracted a big audience when playing on a small stage Tsubame located in the corner of the main Japan Expo Hall 5. Many people heard them and came to check who was playing.

This recording is from their performance on Sunday morning at Tsubame stage. Just as ASTERISM started playing their first song, BLAZE, suddenly the lights went out, and the engineers had to fix the problem. MIYU's bass and MIO's electronic drum kit were fixed first, before HAL-CA's guitar, and they entertained the audience with a nice Drum&Bass improvisation. This recording of BLAZE was made after all electrical supply problems were fixed and ASTERISM were able to start their show properly.
