Softening Cold Cream (borax-free, with only 3 simple ingredients)

Today's recipe is a super simple "cold cream" from 1917. By this time cold creams were starting to fall out of fashion, with the book "Hygiene of the Face" (which is the source of this recipe) promoting toilet creams as the preferred alternative. The book does however still list 4 variations of cold cream recipes. Two of the recipes are very similar to my rose cold cream recipe (    • Luxurious Rose Petal Cold Cream (made...   ) but this particular recipe stands out as it is not the traditional emulsified "cold cream". This cream uses only oils and wax but serves the same purpose and is my new favourite cold cream. It's very rich and perfect for this time of the year.

PS: Yes I know I said I was going to take a break and only do videos every other week, but I just made this cream and had to share it right away. I love it so much! My super dry winter skin is just drinking in the moisture this cream provides and my face is finally starting to feel human again!
