Garland Fire Academy - "Church Raise"

Описание к видео Garland Fire Academy - "Church Raise"

Once used by fire departments to change church light bulbs, the "Church raise" is now used by firefighters in training to develop teamwork and trust. The 35-foot-long ladder is held in the air only by 4 ropes attached to the top, with teams on the ground holding the ladder steady. Fire trainees must climb the ladder, lock their legs into the rungs, lean back without hanging on, cross over the top, then climb down the other side. It is a long-time training exercise used by Garland's fire academy.
