It's time for another Vectron train cab ride, this time from Burgas. "Kalina" the PIMK Rail Vectron will drive you from the port of Burgas to Karnobat. Well, almost: the 🔋 battery died just a few minutes before entering the station. 😬 But if you like 🌦 summer rain, this is the right view for you: there's ☁️ clouds and the journey starts with only light rain, which would later turn into a heavy 🌧 one, approximately at Aitos station.

ℹ️ 80 962 (originally 192 962) is a former testbed Vectron by Siemens. It arrived in 2016 and has been working for PIMK Rail ever since. Recently - after the dimes of DMV Cargo's - the 2 red & black Vectrons also joined the fleet of the private operator from Plovdiv. So, PIMK now has a total of three such locomotives and a fourth one is expected to arrive soon. 🔜

But let's get back to the video: this train is special. 🤩 Not only because it resembled one of the first (back then) visits of a Siemens Vectron in Burgas, but also because it was loaded with PIMK's brand 🆕 cement containers, which had arrived by ⚓️ sea. Still ✨ shiny, fresh and blue. At the back of the train: the regular cast iron load 📦 to Stara Zagora ➕ a V52 diesel engine as a 🎁 Bonus.
