DISCOVERY Ski Area SNOWBOARDING (Back Bowl)

Discovery Ski Area's back bowl has some of the worst lift access terrain in Montana, it's way too steep, they never groom and the snow is BAD!

JUST messing ya'll, this place can really get your biscuit's going and you might even find some gravy! It sure is a HOOT riding at Discovery ski area.

Limelight, the lonely double on Discovery’s backside, accesses some of the best and steepest terrain in Montana. Boasting hardcore steeps, Limelight is the TRUTH! This north-facing area is double black with treed slopes, narrow chutes and virtual free-falls that give way to fields of powder.
Off the Granite Chair, you can step it up a notch with 1600ft vertical of riding that will test your thighs and nerves. The fall lines and views are utter perfection. Access to the lower Silver Cheif lift gives the option of another 800ft vertical drop bringing your run total to 2400 vertical feet!
THIS PLACE ROCKS!

Not to mention the whole frontside on which run's are groomed to perfection daily and the Sunnyvale Terrain park is more then decent!

The base area at Discovery still has that 1990's Montana feel and on weekdays you will most likely have the place to yourself. BEWARE though of the weekend crowds, situated in between some of Montana's biggest towns, when the snow falls this place can get BUSY QUICK!
