Subaru Impreza Turbo (GC8) @ Zolder

Driving my Impreza Turbo (1998) GC8 at Zolder circuit in Belgium.

A video from a few years ago.

The trackday was organized by a Car Mechanics school from Holland. I was invited as a special guest at the time through a friend who studied at the school.

An Impreza enthousiast walked up to me and asked me if he could come for a ride. The first lap or 2 i'm following his car (driven by his friend), the small suzuki. Then he signals me to pass it and show what the impreza can do...

Good memories, really liked that car!

Modifications are 3" Scorpion exhaust, 17" wheels, StopTech brake kit, Blow-off Valve, and ProDrive short shift.

I received the video on a CD about 1 year later, after I had sold the car. The guy had misplaced my address and just found it again.

The video was corrupted, so sorry for the bad quality...

As you can see, the marshalls at the event didn't really do their work well... Hardly any yellow flags, no blue flags to get the slow cars out of my way, and gravel all over the track near the chicanes... Not to mention the absolute nutters driving (well, if you can call it that)...

The guy got out shaking afterwards :D
