Manipur Violence: DGP Vows Action After Drone Attack In Violence-Hit Areas, Central Forces Mobilized

Manipur DGP Rajiv Singh visited violence-affected areas in Imphal on September 3. Singh expressed concern over the drone attack and stated that the Manipur Police is taking it seriously. They have reached out to authorities in Delhi, including the DG NSG, and formed a committee to address the issue. Operations are ongoing in the hill areas where the attacks occurred, and recoveries have been made. The Centre is providing support, and a total of 198 companies of Central forces, along with Assam Rifles, are working together. Singh has spoken to the Core Commander, Assam Rifles, and all IGs, who are equally committed to resolving the situation. The Chief Minister is also actively involved and determined to hold the responsible parties accountable.
