We unbox a streetboardz streetboard and show you how to assemble it.
TRANSCRIPT
Hey there, Anthony here and in this video I want to show you how to put your Streetboardz Streetboard together.
So the first thing I want to do is put your box down on a table and carefully slice along the top and the sides. Take out your Streetboard from the plastic, put that down, and you should have two boxes that contain the wheels and flip the board over.
Next thing you want to do is grab one of the wheels and just take the nut off. Leave the washers on and make sure that, you know, you've got the spring washer there on the inside. Then have a look at the trucks and you'll find that there's a slot on the truck, and you want to make sure that the rounded head is in towards the centre and the flat is towards the outside.
Try and put the flat to the bottom of the truck. From there, you want to push the axle bolt in, and try and screw the wheel on, make the axle bolt connect with that nut that you put inside the truck.
Try and start out with your hand, first of all, so that you don't strip the thread on the Streetboard's axle bolt, and if you need to move that nut around inside, then you can use the tee bar, the tee Allen bolt, to move that nut around. From there, tighten it up all the way until it's tight and you feel it stop. From there, back off at least a quarter of a turn, maybe even half a turn but don't leave the bolt all the way tightened up tight.
There's a spring washer that will hold the wheel onto the Streetboard. So then, go and do that on all four wheels. Double check that you secure them tightly.
Next you want to locate your tyre pressure gauge and pump that was supplied with the Streetboardz Streetboard. Check the tyre pressure. You'll see on the tyre that maximum is 30 psi. So put your pump on. Originally, the pump's lever will be down flat to engage the tyre's nozzle. Lift up that lever and then start pumping up to the desired pressure.
Let's say if you go on soft roads, that have got some loose gravel, then you want a softer pressure. If you've got a nice clean surface, like you can imagine, hard concrete, you could pump it up really nice and tight in the range of 28 psi, even up to that 30 psi, but that's very hard pressure.
From there, you're ready to go. You want to get your Streetboard out on the street but before you do, just take three minutes to watch thsse two videos. So do a YouTube search for "Your 1stRide with Streeboardz", also do a second search for "Streetboardz Safety". Both of them are on the Streeboardz YouTube channel, I should say, and you can see that that's xxstreeboardzxx.
Then that's it. You're ready to go. So go and rip it up. Have some fun and please leave me a comment. Let me know how you get on. Thank you.
