This video will show you how to tell if someone read a text on iPhone in iOs 17. Once yu complete this tutorial, you will know how to see if a text was read, as well as how to adjust your own read receipt settings.

You can tell if an iPhone text was read with the following steps:

1. Open Messages.
2. Select the conversation.
3. Look for the word “Read” below a text.

Note that this only works if the recipient is using iMessage, and has read receipts enabled.

You can adjust your own read receipt setting by going to Settings - Messages - and tapping the button next to Send Read Receipts.
