চলনবিলের একাংশে নাটোরের গুরুদাসপুরে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেলো গ্রামীণ ঐতিহ্যের নৌকা বাইচ প্রতিযোগিতা। নাটোর, পাবনা ও সিরাজগঞ্জ জেলার ১২টি নৌকা প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ গ্রহন করে। বিজয়ী হয় সিরাজগঞ্জ জেলার একতা দল। গ্রামীণ খেলাধুলা টিকিয়ে রাখতে এই বাইচের আয়োজন বলে জানান জেলা প্রশাসক।

A rural traditional boat race competition was held in Gurdaspur, Natore, on a part of Chalanbil. Twelve boats from Natore, Pabna and Sirajganj districts participated in the competition. The Ekta Dal of Sirajganj district won. The District Commissioner said that this race was organized to sustain rural sports.
