The Montblanc 145 is a nicely made pen with a nib that is glassy smooth - perhaps a bit too smooth even. It's a good starter pen to scratch the Montblanc itch.

I probably should mention that there are fakes out there of this pen as well as for other models of Montblanc.

In hindsight, I probably should have gotten a bigger model of Montblanc i.e. the 149, however I was quite hesitant to get a piston filler in case something went wrong with it as the repair costs are a bit pricey.
