Den ze života 311. perutě, která byla ze čtyř československých perutí v rámci RAF jedinou bombardovací. Weissův film ukazuje každodenní činnosti posádky právě v době po převedení perutě od bombardovacího velitelství k velitelství pobřežnímu. Záběry hlídkujícího letadla Liberator se střídají s obrazy rutinní práce na základně. Mezi členy posádky vidíme pilota Jana Romana Irvinga, střelce Jaroslava Hájka, Zdeňka Knappa, Arnošta Poláka, Václava Spitze a navigátora Geoffreye Shawa.

A day in the life of the 311th Squadron, which, of the four Czechoslovak squadrons in the RAF, was the only bomber unit. Weiss’s film presents the daily activities of the crew as they are in the process of transferring the squadron from the Bomber Command to the Coastal Command. Footage of the patrol plane Liberator alternates with images of routine work at the base. Among the crew members we see pilot Jan Roman Irving; gunmen Jaroslav Hájek, Zdeněk Knapp, Arnošt Polák, and Václav Spitz; and navigator Geoffrey Shaw.
