Indemnify will be another great tool for cool season turf managers

Last week Bayer introduced to a select group of southern T & O distributors Indemnify. Rob Golembiewski, part of the Bayer Green Solutions Team discusses the future use of Indemnify for cool season golf course superintendents and turf managers.

Rob discusses the current state of turf management and how the use of less inputs, yet more aggressive practices has allowed the effects of nematodes in root systems to become more prominent. Turf managers are having to treat for nematodes.

Fluopyram labeled as a fungicide in the SDHI class will allow cool season turf managers to utilize this product within their typical IPM and BMP programs.

Indemnify has shown effective control of parasitic nematodes including sting and root knot with an immediate plant health response including production of white fibrous healthy root systems.

Bayer has a goal of launching Indemnify for golf course superintendents and turf managers later this month in the state of Florida. Other states to follow in 2016.
