Streamers Forum | Disney+: Exploring Ambitions in French Original Productions and Acquisitions

Disney+ are known for quality storytelling around the world – and are established program makers in EMEA, investing in world-class and award-winning local originals, working with outstanding creators and premium producers. Over the past two years, Disney+ has brought local, critically acclaimed European Originals to global audiences, including Tout Va Bien, Antigang 2, Oussekine, The Wrong Mans and the highly anticipated original series Becoming Karl Lagerfeld.

In this distinguished panel held at the Marché du Film 2024 edition, in addition to presenting their powerfully branded content, Kevin Deysson (Director of Original Productions) and Julia Tenret (Director of Acquisitions & Programming) also share insights on how Disney is taking advantage of the global streaming opportunities through local productions, acquisitions and prebuy and discuss the ongoing commitment to investing in the European creative industry and provide updates on the EMEA Originals strategy.
